PFAS
PFAS are a group of man-made chemicals that have become a growing concern in drinking water throughout New England. The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) has established a maximum contaminant level (MCL) for PFAS. The MCL is 20 parts per trillion (ppt) or nanograms per liter (ng/L) for the sum of six PFAS in drinking water.
