There are technologies effective in removing PFAS from drinking water, especially Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and Perfluoro octane sulfonic acid (PFOS). These are the most studied of these chemicals. The most effective technologies include ion exchange, activated carbon adsorption and reverse osmosis.
